JOIN THE SIGNATURE PLEDGE LIST Thank you for your interest in The Conservative Constitutionalist Party. As the name implies, the Conservative Constitutionalist Party (CCP) is a political party comprised of social and fiscal, "original intent" conservatives who love America and the United States Constitution. It is our desire to return this nation "of the people, by the people, for the people," to the people through a grass roots movement stressing limited government, personal responsibility, and strict adherence to the Constitution. For far too long we have sat back and watched the two major parties turn this nation into something our founding fathers would be ashamed of. It is time to send them the message that we are fed up with the way they are running this country. It is time to take it back. Today, there is very little difference in the Republican and Democratic parties and both seem to have the same elitist attitude toward the average American whom they regard as too ignorant to run this country. These two parties have created a monopoly on government that our founding fathers never intended and have cemented that monopoly by imposing restrictive ballot access laws at the state level. The two party system is broken and cannot be repaired. We MUST replace it. As long as Americans keep electing Democrats and Republicans, nothing will ever change. At least not significantly. Congress and the Presidency may flip from left to right, then flop left again, but the status quo remains the same. One party may hold power for years before another "throw the bums out" mentality sweeps the nation, or Americans decide they want a change. A change that never really occurs because the powers that be can't seem to get past their partisan bickering. Americans have been conditioned to believe it is the governments responsibility to provide for the welfare of all whom live within it's borders, be they citizens, resident aliens, or illegal aliens. We have been indoctrinated into a culture where big government is the norm. A culture where, through executive departments and federal agencies, the federal government manages and controls every aspect of our society. We CANNOT continue to live in this manner. What is needed is a return to traditional American government, traditional American values, and a good ol' dose of common sense. It is our contention that you do not have to be a lawyer, doctor, or business executive in order to govern. There are plenty of "average American" conservatives quite capable of doing so. Perhaps more so. The CCP offers REAL change. DRASTIC change. Yes, even RADICAL change. And a chance. A chance to turn this nation around. A chance to restore America to it's former greatness. To restore America to the America our founding fathers began. We CAN turn back the clock. Not in terms of progress. Nobody wishes to do that. However, we CAN turn the clock back on big government, out of control spending, and the welfare state. We cannot do it alone however. We need dedicated people. WE need YOU! Imagine the surprise if in 2012, this formerly unknown political entity arose, seemingly from nowhere, secured nationwide ballot access, fielded a full slate of candidates, and actually took a few seats. (Or more than a few.) Are YOU ready for the restoration? |
